American Food through French Eyes

Last night I spent a solid hour searching online for sources of popcorn in Europe. Alas, I found some good sources in the UK but none that can deliver outside of the British Isles! Searching French sites was a challenge that bore little fruit, even after I figured out that the French spell it "pop-corn" or "pop corn" (two words) instead of popcorn. I found a few sources, but all were for that nasty sugared version that is inexplicably popular here - nothing like proper salted Orville's "Death by Butter". I'll keep trying. While searching, I came across this entertaining page. This is for our French readers, all en francais, about the sheer weirdness of US foods to French eyes.
